Wolf children Ame and Yuki ( Jap. おおかみこどもの雨と雪 ookami Kodomo ame but then Yuki ? ) – a full-length animated film released by the studio Studio Chizu in 2012. The studio was founded specifically to create this film [1] . Premiere took place in France at the UGC Cine Cite Les Halles . In Russia the film was first shown in November 2012
19-year-old student Khan meets boy-wolf. The fruits of their love becomes the girl Yuki and her younger brother Ame. After the death of beloved Hana falls itself raise children. Because of the need to conceal their origin woman is not at risk to drive the kids to the doctor, raising suspicions in social services. A regular howling children suggests neighbors suspicion that Khan has got a dog, thereby violating the agreement on renting apartments. Fortunately, none of them doubted that Ame and Yuki – the normal children. The secret of this small but close-knit family is saved.
Meanwhile, the children grow up, and the differences between them are becoming more noticeable. Lively and mischievous Yuki learns the world around him and seems to be more inclined to wolf life. But over time it begins to show interest in communicating with other children and eventually decides to never turn into a wolf. Quiet and a depth Ame makes tentative steps toward adulthood, but later changes dramatically, becoming a strong, brave and serious. He approaches the old fox, caretaker of the forest, and he learns the tricks of the outdoor life. When the fox paw hurts and it becomes obvious that he was going to die, Ame goes to the forest and took his teacher.
Hana is a nineteen year old college student meets a boy and falls in love. This reveals to be a wolf man , the last descendant of the now extinct Japanese wolf . The new house is in a sorry state, but the family can get away with the help of neighbors, they teach how to cultivate the land in Hana, while Yuki begins to want to meet other children his age. Meanwhile, Ame, who was always weak and sickly, he began to gain confidence in himself after trying to catch a kingfisher . Yuki manages to convince her mother to let her go to school, as long as it does not turn into a wolf among the people. When Souhei reveals that his mother is about to get married and then not care more for his son, Yuki takes courage and opens to reveal the friend who was the “wolf” who had injured his ear. Souheio who had it all figured out since he was injured reassures her saying he will never reveal his secret and asks her not to cry, to which Yuki thanks him. Hana has a vision of his beloved who reveals them to be very proud of her and that Ame has finally found a world to which it belongs. Meanwhile, the boy leads her to a car park just outside the forest. The mother wakes up in time to see his son become an adult wolf and go away forever. A year later, Yuki moves in the dormitory of his middle school with Hana laughing at the thought of her children have grown wolf for twelve years, saying that it seemed like a beautiful dream while a howling spreads in the valley.
